With a Purpose
Sidelined from the stage by COVID-19, the Knoxville Gay Men’s Chorus began work on “With a Purpose”, a video series exploring the intersection of the arts, minority issues, and living in the south. In episodes 1 and 2, KGMC Artistic Director, Dr. Alan Stevens, talks with writer and producer Del Shores about his life and work for both the stage and screen.
2020 KGMC Season
This recording is the WORLD PREMIER performance of “A Patch of Light” composed by Jake Narverud with lyrics by Robert Bode! Since our 2020 season was sidelined by the pandemic, KGMC undertook this recording as part of our fall virtual session as part of our effort to engage our membership and uplift our audience. More pieces coming soon!
