Voices for Equality

We use our voices, strengths, and individual gifts to create enriching musical experiences; promote inclusion, equality, and empathy; end hostility toward minority populations; and better our world through community partnerships.

With a Purpose

Video Series

Sidelined from the stage by COVID-19, the Knoxville Gay Men’s Chorus began work on “With a Purpose”, a video series exploring the intersection of the arts, minority issues, and living in the south. In episodes 1 and 2, KGMC Artistic Director, Dr. Alan Stevens, talks with writer and producer Del Shores about his life and work for both the stage and screen.

This recording is the WORLD PREMIER performance of “A Patch of Light” composed by Jake Narverud with lyrics by Robert Bode! More pieces coming soon!
